Annual Appeal

Dear friends,

We like to think of Abington Township Public Library as a world of infinite possibility. We are imaginative, expansive and visionary. Our staff are dedicated, resourceful and knowledgeable. When our community has a need, we do our best to meet it.

That's why we hold our bi-monthly Coffee, Tea and Talk program, so older adults have a place to get together and chat.

It's why we revamped the Play Center in the Children's Department, filling it with color, fun and games for our littlest patrons and their families to enjoy.

It's also why we offered senior class portrait sessions for high schoolers who want to commemorate this special time in life but maybe don't have the budget to hire a professional photographer.

And it's why we circulate so many Chromebooks and hotspots, for the more than 1,000 people who borrow them each year to fulfill their technology needs.

It's why we are currently partnering with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to offer babysitting and CPR classes to young people free of charge.

And it's why we opened our doors to the public when there were power outages over the summer and invited people to recharge--literally and figuratively.

In the very simplest terms, you are our why. You, our patrons and friends, are why we do what we do--and then strive to do it better.

We are so fortunate to have supporters and advocates who stand by us and help us fulfill our mission, year after year. We couldn't serve our community without you.

With gratitude and appreciation, we ask you to make a gift to support Abington Township Public Library. Your generosity and partnership strengthen our work, open doors and help us dream big for the public we serve.

On behalf of our staff and board of trustees, we wish you a happy and healthy holiday season and we hope to see you soon.

Donate now online or mail your gift to Abington Township Public Library, 1030 Old York Road, Abington, PA 19001.
